At Applejack’s Ranch, in partnership with Career Innovations, we believe education should be more than just textbooks and tests, it should be a pathway to confidence, wellness, and meaningful futures. That’s why we’re so excited to welcome new students and families to our community this year!

Today’s families have more choices than ever when it comes to education. In Arizona and in many other states—Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) give families access to public funding that empowers them to choose the learning environment best suited to their child’s unique needs.

Applejack’s Ranch and Career Innovations Academy are proud to be an ESA-approved and Cognia-accredited school, offering a holistic approach to learning that blends:

• Academic progress toward a high school diploma

• Career readiness through ACT WorkKeys certification

• College and career opportunities with Arizona State University’s Universal Learner Program

• Social-emotional support and wellness resources

Our mission is to create a space where every student feels supported. Not just academically, but emotionally and personally, so they can thrive both in school and in life.

What to Expect

Each student is paired with a dedicated Student Advocate who guides them through every step of the journey. From the onboarding session to creating a personalized academic schedule, navigating the ESA process, and answering day-to-day questions, your advocate is there to ensure a smooth start and a strong finish.

The academic year is divided into four nine-week quarters, each focusing on ACT WorkKeys courses that align with high school graduation requirements:

• Applied Mathematics

• Workplace Documents

• Graphic Literacy

At the end of each quarter, students receive bi-weekly progress reports to keep families informed and engaged.

From Learning to Earning

After successfully completing all four quarters of ACT WorkKeys courses, students become eligible to enroll in an ASU Universal Learner certification program of their choice. Even better, EDUCATE covers the full cost of these certification courses, helping students move confidently from learning to earning.
