As a first-generation college student, Dana earned her professional teaching license, counseling license, and doctorate in leadership and human relations through hard work and dedication. “My background helps me bridge the gap between learning and professional practice, ensuring that future graduates are not only technically proficient but also adaptable and ethical leaders,” Dana explains. “Bringing this mindset to Microschooling practices means helping prepare the next generation of leaders to face the challenges of a constantly evolving world.” These experiences shaped her belief in building strong, trusting relationships. Operational Efficiency and Strategy Background I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA. I also lived in Gallup, NM, and Bastrop, TX, before landing in Canon City, CO. I graduated from Canon City High School. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Business at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and I completed my Master's of Business Administration from Colorado State University-Pueblo, graduating Magna Cum Laude. My leadership qualities and academic achievements were further recognized through induction into the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society. I have worked with students since 2009. My experience includes being a student coach, counselor, location manager, and regional manager for online schools. I have worked with many students and helped them reach their goals. Success is defined differently by each student I have worked with. I believe in education options and support that help students reach their goals, whether getting a full scholarship into a 4-year university or simply completing their diploma to enter the workforce. I started with Global in July of 2016. I am here because all students need available educational choices that are best for them. Online education allows students to pursue their education at their own pace and schedule. I wish that when I was in high school, I had similar opportunities. Although I did not have an online option, I had a teacher who went above and beyond to help me succeed. I was attracted to education because I wanted to be that person for another student.
